Attorney Bridgett Garballey received her law degree from Suffolk University in Boston in 2002.  Prior to attending Suffolk, Attorney Garballey received her B.A. magna cum laude from University of Massachusetts in Boston, and graduated in the Honors Program.

While in law school, Attorney Garballey was a law clerk with Crowe and Mulvey, LLP in Boston, a firm specializing in medical malpractice.  She also worked as an intern at district attorneys’ offices in Suffolk and Norfolk County.

After her admission to the bar in 2002, she began working as an associate at McBride & Natola in Boston, a firm specializing in criminal defense.  Attorney Garballey represented clients in Superior and District courts throughout the state for various types of criminal charges, including drug trafficking, assault & battery, and OUI.  She also represented numerous plaintiffs in personal injury cases, and negotiated several very successful settlements for her clients.

Subsequently Attorney Garballey was an associate in the professional practices group at  Donovan Hatem, LLP, an insurance defense firm, where she represented professionals in the construction field, such as architects.

Attorney Garballey has now opened her own practice in Arlington, MA.  She has a general practice concentrating in criminal defense and personal injury.  Staying up to date on current developments in the law, Attorney Garballey recently completed a seminar devoted to Massachusetts OUI laws, and the recent changes made, including the harsher penalties.

Attorney Garballey is available for representation in all types of immigration issues.  This includes Visa Applications, Changes of Status, and Deportation Hearings.

Attorney Garballey is available for all types of probate and family court proceedings, including child custody, DSS custody, alimony disputes and child support disputes.

Unlike many attorneys who prefer not to go to court, Attorney Garballey spends close to five days per week in the courtroom, and is always ready, willing and able to take a case to trial, assuming that doing so is in her client's best interest.

Attorney Garballey also sits as a Town Meeting Member in Arlington, MA.  She is a member of the Women’s Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, and Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys.
